In recognition of the valuable role that teaching assistants play in our undergraduate programs, the university annually awards teaching prizes to Graduate Teaching Assistants. This year's Killam Teaching Assistant Award recipients include 19 UBC graduate students who have earned recognition and respect from their students and supervisors for their role as TAs.
The Killam Teaching Assistant Award includes a certificate and $1,000 for the recipient. Given annually since 1996, these awards recognize teaching excellence at the university and support graduate students in their work.
