Write to Flourish, Write with Flourish: An On-Campus Writing Retreat
In celebration of Thrive UBC, the Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication (CWSC) and Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS) invite doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows to an on-campus writing retreat. The in-person event includes a panel discussion about embracing writing as a communal endeavour, dedicated time to write and thrive together, one-on-one writing consultations with the CWSC, and nourishment – coffee/tea, snacks, and catered lunch – courtesy G+PS and GSS.
Event Schedule:
9:15am – 12:45pm:
- opening panel
- dedicated writing
- closing remarks
1 – 2 pm: writing consultations, pre-booking required: Log into WCOnline and choose the “Doctoral and Postdoctoral Writing Retreat” to book a consultation.
Please note: The writing retreat for students in a masters program will be hosted in February 2024

General registration opens on Monday, November 6th at 9 am.
