UBC’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office is hiring several Work Learn positions for the upcoming 2024/25 Academic Year.
Are you interested in supporting graduate students? Do you want to help students navigate their journey through grad school? G+PS has several Work Learn positions including:
- Digital and Social Media Assistant (Job ID 979324)
- Support communications for current graduate students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks including social media management, graphic design and video editing in support of communications plans.
- Marketing & Recruitment Assistant (Job ID 979322)
- Support marketing and promotion efforts for prospective students. The assistant will develop posts for LinkedIn, help edit video content, develop creative materials for campaigns and assist with research.
- Web Development Assistant (JobID 979330)
- Support the migration of our existing Drupal websites to the latest version. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks including planning, configuration, UX testing and QA.
- Doctoral Examination Student Assistant
- Supports the Doctoral Exam team in corresponding with faculty and committee members, receiving and processing forms for External Examiners, and reviewing Dissertation abstracts. NOTE: because of the nature of the work and potential Conflict of Interest, we CANNOT consider current PhD students for this role. Master's students are encouraged to apply.
