Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree?
With an undergraduate degree, the knowledge is not sufficient to carry out research or work in technically challenging areas. A graduate degree lays the foundation for research and broadens the knowledge.
Why did you decide to study at UBC?
UBC is one of the top universities in the world. The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has very good faculty members.
What do you hope to accomplish with your research?
Hoping that it will improve medical diagnosis and techniques.
What are your future career goals?
To pursue a PhD.
What has been your most memorable Vancouver experience so far?
So far, every day has been memorable. Meeting new people, going around the city, the weather, attending classes etc.
What advice do you have for new graduate students?
UBC is a great school and Vancouver is a very nice place to live.
