The JD program is not considered a graduate degree at UBC despite carrying Doctor in its name. Thus, the program is not administered by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Overview
The Juris Doctor degree is granted on the successful completion of a three-year course and prepares students for admission to the practice of law and for business and public service.
