Abhishek Sharma

Postdoctoral Fellow

I work on searches for new physics (Supersymmetry and flavour changing neutral currents) and measurements of top quark processes (top pairs with heavy quarks, 4 top quark production) on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC.

My particular interest and expertise lies in reconstructing collider events to recover kinematic information and to resolve combinatoric ambiguities. Additionally I work on effective field theory interpretations of top physics measurements to indirectly search for new physics.

I also work on readout systems for the ATLAS inner tracker upgrade, which will be installed in the detector from the mid 2020s.
