Home to more than 300 researchers, the Michael Smith Laboratories combines biology and technology to discover innovative solutions to society’s most important problems.

We work in diverse clusters of interdisciplinary researchers from the faculties of Science, Medicine, Applied Science, Forestry, and Land and Food Systems to address society’s most pressing health and environmental needs.
