IODE War Memorial Scholarship Likely in October 2025 The National Chapter of Canada IODE initiated War Memorial Doctoral Scholarships in 1918 to commemorate Canadians who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom. Initially, bursaries were granted to children of men and women who lost their lives or who were permanently disabled while fighting for Canada. ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award Likely in October 2025 Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) established the Doctoral Dissertation Award program to recognize and encourage superior research and writing by doctoral candidates in computer science and engineering. The award is presented each June at the ACM Awards Banquet and is accompanied by a prize of $20,000 plus travel expenses to the banquet. All winning dissertations are published exclusively in print and electronic formats as part of the ACM Books Series, which includes distribution through the ACM Digital Library. This training program is aimed at students and their supervisors from Canadian universities who are interested in interdisciplinary primary health care research. Trainees will have a primary Mentor who will offer leadership and guidance to participants until they are established primary health care researchers.
